I don't know the mileage but it's a 1.5 to 2 hour drive from my home on NY's Long Island to the AT.

I'm in St Pete, FL. Way too far and I live through WhiteBlaze, but then I step outside and remember why I love FL. The dream is to have a double-wide or condo going down here for winter and provide hiker services during spring/summer/fall in the southeast and northeast.
