90 minutes from Hanover or Franconia Notch.
22 hours and then a 45 min ride to mountain crossings to get back on the trail. Over did it springer to neels in 2 day.

7 hr drive if Atlanta traffic isn't too bad. Still worth the trip!
Right now I live about 120 miles from the trail. I used to live only 10 miles from it.
There's no such thing as cold weather, only inappropriate clothing.
About 1/2 hour drive from the Rte 20 crossing in Becket, MA.
