Default Needing a Lightweight winter coat

Looking for another winter coat. Wondering what everyone's recommendations are? I am needing a lightweight down coat, preferably with a hood and would prefer the hood to be able to be cinched down. One example I have is mountain hardwear ghost whisperer. Please let me know your recommendations.

I had a montbell before and I loved it so I am kind of leaning the montbell way with a hoodie.

My insulation for my thru-hike consisted of two pieces. One was a TNF triumph anorak jacket (http://www.thenorthface.com/catalog/...ph-anorak.html)...this is a no-frills rain jacket/windbreaker with a hood and weighs 6oz for a large (self-weighed). The second was the Mont-bell Ex Light down jacket (http://www.backcountry.com/montbell-...wn-jacket-mens)...again, no frills down jacket that weighs 6.5oz for a large (again, self-weighed). This setup worked great for me. The down jacket alone is great, but add the rain jacket with hood and you don't feel breezes either.
