    Default Tooth Paste Tablets

I saw these tooth past tablets and they seem like a better idea than trying to create your own tooth paste drops. whatdayathink?

Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

I use Dr. Bronner's peppermint flavored soap. Two drops is all you need.

Looks interesting. I wonder if they're designed for you to swallow the material, or if you're still supposed to spit it out. Not spraying white spittle in the surrounding area would be a big improvement for heavily-used backcountry areas.

$0.14 per brushing. Not the end of the world if grams are that important to you. At least, I assume so...No idea what those weigh. Still, expensive toothpaste but I have a pretty expensive coffee mug too

Or a mini-spray bottle of fluoridated mouthwash- requires less water & less mess.

According to the dental hygienist that cleans my teeth twice per year and some articles I read online (on the internet so it must be true) toothpaste isn't really necessary. It's the brushing action that cleans the teeth. That said, a few drops of tooth oil is anoher option that would also be lightweight. One can buy it or make your own with 1 part spearmint oil, 1 part peppermint oil, and 2 parts almond oil. This recipe is also good to treat bleeding gums.

    Default Refillable toothbrush

Travelon has a toothbrush with a hollow handle you fill with toothpaste. The tech sheet the company sent me was not very good but it appears the toothpaste is squeezed out through a hollow handle by turning a screw assembly. Six bucks plus fright and handling. Plastic and does not look like it weighs alot. They would not answer the questiion of how much the unit weighed with .42 oz of toothpaste. Rolls (I will order one and weigh it and post the results)

I used a single travel-size tube of toothpaste while on the AT for 5 months. You need very, very little to get a good cleaning. Try it at home.

Its true that toothpaste is unnecessary! It's the brushing action that counts! On the other hand, brushing alone won't leave you with minty breath!
