i ran into a hiker in ME. HE was wearing green skirt, white sheer blouse, green bra, hi-lighted hair, blue eye shadow and lipstick, but trail runners. we talked a bit about the heat and went separate ways. he passed the hikers behind me. we all caught up at a water source. Gaia said "OMG can you believe that, LOL". I said " I know, blue eyeshadow with green, how gosh"
I'm so confused, I'm not sure if I lost my horse or found a rope.

Another thru-hiker that feels the need to draw more attention to themselves and/or their cause. He must have had some buffed up calves after the 1200 trail miles in the heels. Wonder if he was wearing woman's panties and bra underneath the shirt and shorts to make himself "feel complete."

Stiletto heels, because deformed calf muscles are now considered sexy....

He's not a thru-hiker, and he's raising money for a friend with MS. Let's not neg out on the guy too much. It's a fairly ballsy move if you ask me. :-)

I want to know how many miles he actually walked in those shoes. I suspect it was quite a bit fewer than we are led to believe. But having said that, I couldn't have made a mile in them so he did much better than I could have.

They sure look mighty good shape for the miles--My Keens wear out long before 1200 miles--hmmmm.

"I needed a gimmick, though, to draw attention. And that's where the pumps came in — it really just came to me one day. I'd start in Yosemite, and wear the pumps to Portland. Mostly for the alliteration, ha ha."

he wanted attention, he's getting it

I wonder if this thread should be combined with, "The Great Bra Search is Over" thread?
