Default Need detailed Maps of trail near Harpers Ferry.

Going on a 1-2 night hike with my stepsons scout troop. Details are not solid yet but we will supposedly going on a sobo hike to HF about 15-ish miles or so. So I'm gonna want a good map of area. Doesn't have to be super-duper topographical but decent. Don't mind buying if they aren't outrageous. Getting pretty excited. Thanks!

I would suggest REI. They have some of the most detailed maps of the different sections of the trail. If you have a smart phone I would also suggest the AT Hiker 5 app. It is a detailed map stored on your phone that will still work in airplane mode. It also deatails water sources and shelters. Nothing beats a good map though.

You can purchase maps online from the ATC or from the PATC (who produces the AT maps for this area).

    PATC link: https://www.patc.net/PublicView/Stor...y.aspx?catid=5
    ATC Link: https://www.atctrailstore.org/catalo...tid=0&compid=1

You can also purchase them directly at a local outfitter or at the ATC home office in Harpers Ferry (worthy of a stop anyway).
