    Default More Colorado adventures

An ~20 mile jaunt in the Monarch Lake area. Was briefly on the CDT! Most of hiking was off trail. As mentioned, I have a bent ski pole, scrapes and bruised legs to show for it.

And..gotta say, the scenic beauty of Colorado is quite good.

Nice pics. Scenic beauty is right. How about exporting some of it up here? All the women I've been meeting recently are either married or are still in highschool. I'm trying to stay away from both types. I'm heading down to Oregon for a stretch on the PCT in a couple of days and will try to make the place look ugly.

    Talking Colorado is awful

We are snow bound most of the year. The roads are awful. The cost of living is high and taxes are some of the worst in the nation. It is about a 2 to 1 ratio of men to women. A really bad place.

Now California has a lot more scenic beauty. That is where you should move.

Yeah ...pretty much the same for Wyoming. But I think our ratio is worse and the sheep are nervous !!

    Default Great ratios for me!!!!

I personally am a glutton for bugs, high taxes and give me a two to one ratio, I'll be as happy as a pig in ****.
Anyways looks like you had a great adventure, great pictures - my legs are still healing from the cuts & scrapes. I can honestly say that Wyoming has left a scar

    Default more Colorado is awful

Great pictures Mags. There are only two attractive women in Colorado and you are hiking with both of them.

I did see an attractive woman in the Devils Thumb snow field on July 17. LemStar flew past my buddy and me.

You need to fight the huge traffic jam at the Eisenhower Tunnel to see the mountain scenery.

I was at Frozen Dead Guy Days and overheard a local comment "I hope summer this year is on a weekend so we can enjoy it."

I seem to have luck hiking with (and dating from time to time) attractive Colorado hiker babes.

(The one on the right [in yellow] is one of my closest friends in town, along with her husband. Was honored to give the toast at their wedding)

(You know it is small town when on the woman I am dating was there..along with my on again/off again girlfriend! :O )

    (Snickers! )

Finally..the woman who alternately who drives me crazy and always seem to go back with. (I think she says the same of me!).

Well you get the idea..there are more in my albums! Told you Colorado scenery is good!

    RE: Ike Tunnel
--Or fight the tourons on Trail Ridge road. (Though Indian Peaks is easy to get to for me)

    re: Frozen Dead Guy Days
Funny..I just watched "Grandpa's in the Tuff Shed" again!

The caretaker of Grandpa is one of our customers. He offered to give our staff a tour anytime we want to... Hmm.
