    A gentleman and a flirt
met up on a trail made of dirt.
Said the flirt, "Let us dine."
Said the gent, "The bill's mine."
The result was a bit of a squirt.

    A gentleman and a flirt
found themselves on the same trail of dirt.
Said the gent, "The bill"s mine."
    Said the flirt, "How divine,
by the way, I am all for dessert."

You know I'm a real person with feelings, right? I've noticed several comments you've made about me. If I've offended you in some way I would like to apologize. I'm really a nice girl. I've taught Sunday school (for a very brief time when I lived with my grandparents), volunteered at homeless shelters, I work for a nonprofit which provides care to people with special needs like autism and deafness, and every Friday I drive a 90-year-old former landlady to doctor appointments and various other errands. Yeah, I'm a serious flirt and maybe I could be a little more demur... but I'm also young and unattached... and maybe you could try to be more accepting and not make so many assumptions.

I tried messaging you but you have that blocked. I wonder why.

    A youngun', whose name I won't mention,
    was getting unwanted attention.
    The thing was the skin
    seemed a little bit thin,
as if humor were just a pretension.

    Miss Sierra Stone,

My fun has sincerely not been meant to harm you, and I honestly hope I have not caused you to be too upset.
I can tell you are a bright, well intentioned, and often quite charming young lady. Forgive me for ruffling your feathers. I am an incorrigible old fart.

this post is nothing but a terrible facade

Oh! I am a little too delicate, aren't I? I'm sorry, I really don't know your personality. (In my defense! The last time you were posting continuously it was pretty direct and rather serious and you weren't screwing around. I dunno if I'm not suppose to mention that? I'm not used to this 1984 censorship.) Please, continue poking fun at me! I need to toughen up. ^_^

    Hiking on to see
It matters not what it is
    Just that I do see

    Sometimes I hike slow

There once was a hiker named Furlough.
Who got his trail name while still a GI Joe.
Now today he hikes and maintains,
While all the while still dreaming about the GAME of Georgia to Maine.
