Default Most Scenic 40-50 mile section from Pheonix area to Grand Canyon along AZ Trail?

The only thing better than mountains, is mountains where you haven't been.

Really, it's hard to go wrong with any part of Superior to Flagstaff when that includes the Superstitions, Four Peaks, and the Mazatzals.

Yes the section through the Eastern Superstitions from US 60 (Picketpost TH) to Roosevelt is a good 50 miler. South of Picketpost is great, too, with some fantastic new trail just north of the Gila, and maybe easier access near Florence. It's a long drive around to Roosevelt Lake.
