How much do those lids overhang the rim of the pot? I use a cozy so too much and it wouldn't fit the cozy lid right.

Thanks for keeping this deal active. I'm sure this will work great on my next trip.
I'm glad to have been able to help folks find a good deal once in a while. If a search was done you would find that just a lid for the 10cm mug costs $7.00+ shipping.

Hey Dan, I ordered a Simmerlight Stove and Imusa Mug and lid last week and they showed up yesterday. Very good quality on the stove, and I love how that lid really snaps/fits on the imusa mug so well. Ill have to put a review on BPL
With that great price, I was happy to buy another pot. I really like my titanium kettle, but it's not stable on a Whisperlite. So it was either this, or pay more for an Expresso Star.
Oh, the pot has a flat spot on bottom, but it's narrower than the width of the pot.
The most efficient vessel I ever tested was a 2.5 cup capacity aluminum cereal bowl. It was one of those vintage anodized shiny colored bowls from the 60's.
A little heads up here.....over at Backpackinglight.com in the DIY gear forum a guy found a small angle food cake pan that fits perfect inside the 10cm mug. I'm so exicited about it I can hardly contain myself whooooo!!!!!
I've had great success at steam baking in larger jello molds. I think they are about 6" dia. The 10cm mug is about 4" dia. Much better size for backpacking. Tomorrow I go out on a shopping search for some that will fit the mug. I'll report back if I have any success.
Steam baking is really easy, you got to try it when you find the cake pan to fit.
If I find a reliable source I'll make them available with the mugs.
I'll get a link to my website where I and others share their success at baking with jello molds/cak pans from thrift stores.
I have not tried a silicone cup but if I find one today that fits I'll get one. The silicone might be the best way to go....maybe. aluminum should be lighter I would think.
Here is a link to the thread about baking. Lots of pages and photos. A mix of info and is a good read. I made meat loaf and flan using my alcohols stoves. I think this 10cm mug is going to be one of my cups of choice if I can bake in it also. As soon as I find a cake tin I'll start baking. My wife alows me to use my stoves in the kitchen as long as it's for baking......go figure!!!!!

I'm out of lids right now but will make another hundred over the weekend.
Thank you to all that have purchased
I've been enjoying the 10cmug that I got from you a few months ago. Any tips on what to treat the handle with? It gets awfully hot..
RIAP
The pot and lid are lighter than my Toaks titanium pot and lid. I really like it. I still need to find a coffee mug that will nest inside it.
Tried it out last night, it works beautifully. Floated the silicone muffin cup in a little less than an inch of water and ran an ounce of fuel through the Fancee Feest... Perfect blueberry muffin.
I have one with a carbon felt wrap on the handle, that works well... I just use a scrap of silicone (cut from a baking mat) as a pot grabber though.
I cut the rim off a Easy Mac bowl and use that as a coffee cup... BPA free so safe for boiling water, and super light. Nests right inside once the rim is removed.
Everything I have tried gets too hot for me to be able to pick up the pot without having to quickly drop it down to prevent getting burned. I have come to the conclusion that a jersey glove is the way to go for me. an alternative is to know your stove well enough to put just the right amount of fuel in to boil your water and then go out. Let it sit there for 2 min. and then pick it up off the stove. aluminum handles cool off quickly once they are away from the stove heat. Today I tried using a 3" diameter carbon felt pad to pick it up right after I shut the heat off. Water was to a boil and I was able to pick up the pot and hold onto it. 1/4" thick carbon fiber works as a grabber to the handle after the heat is off.
Glad to hear of the success with the silicone muffin cup. I searched locally but could not find a suitable size jello mold or angel food cake pan. I bought 2 4" pans via ebay and they were shipped today. I also was able to work out a trade with the guy at backpackinglight for 2 pans like he showed in his thread. He shipped them out yesterday. So next week I'll be turning out some muffins. Banana nut is my favorite
Nice idea to use the Easy Mac bowl for a cup that fits inside. I have the large size aluminum Armour wieners can that fits inside. It is 1cup capacity with head room for boil. 180degrees is good for me, don't need the boil, too hot StarLyte stove fits inside the cup.
I was able to complete 50 lids today so Monday I'll ship some of the orders that came in today.
Those lids fit so well I can lift the pot with it if I tilt it a little. That's impressive.
