Starting the SNP AT section NB in about a week. It's hard to find weather conditions for the trail by looking up Waynesboro. How much colder are the nights up on the trail? Trying to plan clothes.

I use this link which was provided on one of the SNP web pages:

I'm starting NOBO from Rockfish Gap next week. I doubt the forecast is accurate more than a few days in advance but it is looking pretty good at this point. Of course, rain is all but inevitable at some point.

thanks, I'll leave from Rock Fish on the 17th. I saw your itinerary - your doing big days !!
If your taking a cell phone, I was able to get current weather information while on the trail by using the parks main phone# 540-999-3500. In the menu there was an option for current road conditions and weather for Skyline Drive. Was kind of handy when I went through there about a week ago.
After the first day in snow, the trail warmed up pretty nice. Toward the end of the week the nights were around the mid to low 40's. Remember, there was no leaves on the trees a week ago, so days are direct sunlight and there is no canopy to keep the nights warmer.
