I am still at it. Putting the final details together for a mid September Hike. I will post an outline for advice and to make sure I am not overlooking something obvious. One of the last details is figuring out how to get from Twin Lakes back to Denver. What are my best options?
Start hiking at a fairly low elevation to help you acclimate. Drink, drink, drink - water, that is. It helps with headaches, nausea & such related to altitude. And what an earlier poster said about preparing for the cold. We had frost at 10,000 feet on July 1st. Here's a link to one shuttle back to the airport.
