Dr Bonners Soap

I have read about the need to keep "smellies" inside your bearbag. Is it safe to use Dr. Bronners Peppermint Soap on oneself and on clothing, or will that attract bears? I can just see bears mistaking me for a giant candy cane while I'm asleep!
