Insert tongue in cheek: From now on I'm going to ask all marathoners that I meet if they wore back packs and if they refused the Dixie cups of Gatorade. If they say "no," I will then commence with denigrating their accomplishment.
PS: I'm wearing tiny ankle weights on my fingers as I type, to ensure that this is an unsupported post. Don't want to be a hypocrite.
Yes, Max Patch, you are correct. I'm all talk. I'm not a violent person, and I'm smaller than most other posters. So my threats are completely idle. I depend wholly on the power of the pixel.

Nice job documenting the record attempt Map Man!
My last post on this site.
Congratulations to Jenn, I wish her the absolute best for the future and much success.
If she ever comes here, I hope they don't lock the topic while she's typing. Again.
It's fine to have an opinion, but if you state that, in your opinion, the earth is flat, better-informed people will not hesitate to tell you that you don't know what you're talking about. Jenifer is an awesome athlete, but she is also physically and mentally tough, and smart enough to have come up with a winning strategy for accomplishing an incredibly difficult feat. We will be seeing other people adopt her tactics when they try to lower the record in future years.
