    Opens March 1. Easy 0.5W from Dicks Creek Gap. Bunkroom with shower & towel $20. Overflow tenting $10pp includes shower. Shuttles to Hiawassee 3X a day free to overnight guests; Shuttles to/from other locations for a fee. Frozen foods, ice cream, sodas and resupply on-site, including fuel. Hot dinner - $10; breakfast items, smoothies, and fresh bread available for purchase. Laundry $5/load. Computer/internet/long distance phone (free). AT Passport stamp location.     Yup, easy as oposed to walking uphill back to the trail.

    Similar to Companion/Databook speak...

    East and West—Regardless of compass direction, “east” or “E” and “west” or “W” are used as
    they are in the A.T. Data Book and the series of 11 A.T. guides: “East” is to the northbounder’s
    right and the southbounder’s left, when referring to the Trail.
