I edited together this short film yesterday. Nothing special but AT hikers might dig it.

heald, you said you edited it. did you also shoot it? if so, in my opinion, this short film is better than 95% of the full length AT docs out there. great job! fantastic!

When on a long distance hike, I often feel like a Lord of the Rings character.

"Flip Flop Flippin" was filmed last year on the AT. and is available at www.squatchfilms.com It gives you a real good look at a few of the people out there, and he used some of my music in the soundtrack

Load the appalachian trail onto your google earth, then in layers (the sidebar) double click gallery then check the check box for youtube. You will see plenty of A.T vids near there locations on the great Appalachian Trail. If you dont have the A.T on google earth you can get it from http://www.appalachiantrail.org/abou...l-gis-gps-data

I got my copy of Flip Flop Flippin last week. Fun movie, it focused mostly on the people that hiked the trail, and it was a cool change from a lot of other movies in that it wasn't just a diary style documentary of a thru hike.

I also just finished up watching the Walkumentary (http://www.thewalkumentary.com/) which is a cool look at hiking the CDT.

Both movies feature a few of the more famous/infamous members of whiteblaze.
