Default WhiteBlaze Appalachian Trail screen saver

I finally got the screen saver done that I have been putting together for months now. I think I have looked through almost all the photos on WhiteBlaze and think I have come up with some good ones. I have put a 10 second delay on the photos. I hope that will be enough. I have labeled some of the photos but not all of them. I did not think that all of them needed to be labeled. Maybe I should not have labeled any of them. But I did. All the photos are photos of the Appalachian Trail or were taken from the Appalachian Trail with the exception of mug shots of well know people of the Appalachian Trail. I have also included some background music that can be turned off in the screen saver settings.
I hope everyone that downloads this will enjoy it.

7,868 KB which is just under 8 megs.
Download version with music here: Music version 1.0

I have also included a version without the music for those that don’t want the music or done want to download such a big file. It is the same identical screen saver but without the music.

3,586 KB which is 3 ½ megs without music
Download version without music here: Non Music version 1.0

I'm looking forward to seeing it but unfortunately i work out of cyber cafes and am not allowed to install programs. Is there any way to view it without installing the screensaver??? Thanks in advance, fiddlehead

Attroll,
Excellent job! Thanks so much. Now my hubbie can enjoy some of the views I'll be seeing in the next two months. I'm leaving in the morning, and I feel like this............

I'm so excited I can hardly stand it right now.

Thanks again Attroll.

Thumbs up

Really nice, and thanks for all the hard work. I've been looking at the pictures and see that theres a shuffle built in. How many actual pictures make up the screen saver? These are really good. Hikerwife

Very cool indeed! I have installed on my work PC and can't tell you how many people have asked for it. Over half of them didn't even know what the AT is, but appreciated the beauty protrayed thru the pics.

Yup, I downloaded the screensaver too, it's great.

Troll, perhaps you can put all the pics into a single album and allow slideshow viewing for members like Fiddlehead that are on public computers?

Also, I didn't download the music version. Is there an add-on or would I have to download the entire program seperately. Is it recommended for dial-up?

Thanks...

Thumbs up Nice, Thanks!

I downloaded the non-music version just to tease myself before my trip in September. Lots of great pictures, my wife and I both love it, thanks

There is nothing differnet with the music version. In fact if you don't want to listen to the music you can go into the screen saver proprties on the music version and mute it. Both version are identical except one has music. The music is nothing spectacular it is just the music to Dancing with Wolves.

Thanks for the fantastic screensaver. I'm not sure if looking at the photos helps mark time until March or intensifies the need to be there. Great Job!!!
