This butterfly couldn't stay away from my stinky liner socks drying in the sun at Pochuck Mountain Shelter (June 2004). I had borrowed a cheap digital camera without a zoom that forced me to get within a foot of him.

    That HAS to be one of those plastic butterflies that they place in flower arrangements. If it is alive, I know he went belly-up soon after this picture was taken.
